Description

Description

The project will build an approximately 9,500 square foot, one-level, accessible, community hall in the District of Stewart to accommodate larger community events in the community. It will include flex space, a commercial kitchen, and public washrooms. Currently, the District of Stewart has no facility to host community events over 150 people and no event space that is accessible to seniors. With two mines set to be constructed near Stewart, the population is likely to increase, and the need for community event space will be even higher. The project works will include: - Open hall area with stage; - Commercial kitchen; - Bathrooms; - Foyer; - Meeting room; - Access road and parking lot; - Utility connections; - Site preparation and landscaping; and, - Other related works.
