Description

Description

This project consists of leasing areas for the construction and operation of two port terminals for the movement of liquid bulk in the Port of Santarém. Are they: STM 04 – Liquid Bulk Terminal at the Port of Santarém/PA, brownfield area with 28.8 thousand m²; STM 05 – Liquid Bulk Terminal at the Port of Santarém/PA, brownfield area with 35.1 thousand m². At Terminal STM 04, there are eight pressurized horizontal tanks with a diameter of 3.5 meters and a length of 10.6 meters. All tanks have their own concrete foundations and containment for spill control. The total static storage capacity is approximately 800 m3. In addition to the need for new tanks to be installed to replace the current ones, the static capacity must be increased to 1,600 m3. This expansion should meet the projection of demand for the Terminal until 2041. To this end, investments in the order of R$ 18.9 million are planned. At the end of the lease period, the Terminal must have a minimum capacity to handle 56 thousand tons per year. The STM 04 auction was held on March 23, 2017 with a grant value of R$18.2 million. The Porto Santarém Consortium (Petrobrás Distribuidora S.A and Petróleo Sabbá S.A) won the auction held by ANTAQ. The STM 05 auction, held on the same day, obtained a grant value of R$50.0 million and was also won by Consórcio Porto Santarém.
