Description | Stony Brook University is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure by adding eight new public dual port EV charging stations on campus, increasing the total number of stations to 21 and total parking spaces for EV charging to 42. The stations are located in two public lots: Lot 2 near Mendelsohn Quad and Lot 52 near the Innovation and Discovery Center. The project also includes plans for fleet vehicle charging infrastructure to support the goal of converting 100% of light-duty non-emergency vehicle fleets to Zero Emission Vehicles by 2035, in line with New York State Executive Order 22. |
