StormWall Satellite Plasma Shield
Sector: Telecommunications
Source: HESPRESS English (MOROCCO NEWS)
An ambitious project proposing the deployment of a constellation of six school bus-sized satellites in geostationary orbit to create a temporary plasma shield protecting Earth from massive solar superstorms. The satellites would release ionizable elements to form a plasma cloud that acts as a barrier to reduce the impact of solar storms on Earth's magnetic field and critical infrastructure.
