The eCall service is an automatic emergency call system for vehicles that sends an emergency call to the relevant public safety control centre when an in-vehicle sensor detects a serious collision. The notification includes important information such as the vehicle’s location, the number of passengers and the type of fuel to enable the emergency service team to respond more efficiently. |
