Stratos Project Data Center

planned

The Stratos Project is a massive data center planned for rural Box Elder County, Utah. It will be built on 40,000 acres of privately held vacant land, split into three sites. The first site will host the data center and a large-scale energy generator, while the other two sites are planned for future commercial and public infrastructure use. The project will be built in phases, starting with a 1.5-gigawatt capacity data center confined to a 2,000-acre footprint, eventually reaching a total capacity of 9 gigawatts. The project is still in early stages, requiring multiple approvals, including environmental and water rights permits, and is currently raising funds for construction.
