This small-scale technical assistance (SSTA) will seek to strengthen central bank research capabilities, foster collaborative, policy-oriented research, and promote regional cooperation and knowledge-sharing. The SSTA aims to strengthen the economic research capacity of central bank economists through collaboration with academic and institutional experts, enhance regional knowledge-sharing through joint research and networking initiatives, and support evidence-based policymaking by helping central bank staff apply research insights to respond effectively to domestic and external shocks. The activities implemented and outputs under this SSTA will underpin ADB's strategic priorities that support economic prosperity in the region. Through fostering stronger regional cooperation by central banks on higher quality collaborative policy-based research, ADB can help to support the economic resilience and growth potential of our DMCs.
