Description

Description

The IRO4ALL project is a transformative initiative aimed at integrating Moldova’s higher education system into the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). By embedding internationalization at strategic, operational, and cultural levels within institutional governance, the project seeks to create a higher education environment that aligns with principles of inclusivity, sustainability, and green development. Specific Objectives: Conduct an analysis of European policies and practices for inclusive and sustainable internationalization of higher education. Train staff from International Relations Offices (IROs) and other support services, equipping them with advanced skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for European cooperation with a focus on sustainable development. Enhance institutional policies, procedures, and structures that support the integration of the European dimension into teaching, learning, and research within Moldovan HEIs, fostering an inclusive, green, and sustainable approach to internationalization. Develop operational elements to facilitate curriculum internationalization, scholar and student exchanges, and technical cooperation among HEIs. Expected Main Results: 1. A comprehensive training kit on European policies and best practices for inclusive and sustainable higher education internationalization. 2. Trained IRO staff capable of supporting internationalization efforts within curricula, academic exchanges, and technical cooperation initiatives. 3. Revised institutional policies, procedures, and functions of IROs that reinforce inclusive and sustainable internationalization and European integration. 4. Promotional materials for an electronic platform aimed at increasing the visibility and impact of involved HEIs in European integration efforts. 5. Draft proposals for KA1 (student and staff mobility) and KA2 (capacity building) projects to enhance European cooperation in higher education.
