Description | To set Ukraine on the path to European Union (EU) accession, this project will support the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture (MEEA) in maintaining State Agrarian Register (SAR) operation, expand SAR outreach to small and medium scale farmers, and operationalize key Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) elements of the farm register in a way that is consistent with EU requirements. Its components are: (i) maintenance and expansion of SAR hardware, with capacity sufficient to allow the coverage of all small farms in Ukraine, and (ii) operationalizing the EU aligned farm register with successfully piloted IACS elements for use by the future paying agency, and project management. |
