The purpose of this project is to purchase an IMSI Catcher type device for the needs of the Technique and Observation Department of the TAC in Lublin. The purchase is to improve the security of economic transactions, protect against fraud, corruption, and any other illegal activities that could impact the financial interests of the EU. The device is necessary due to the increased use of mobile telecommunication in business deals, both legal and illegal. The growth of technology and the evolution of communication in the modern business world have led to a change in the nature of communication, making it easier for fraudsters and criminals to carry out illegal activities. The device will enable the institution to monitor traffic in a mobile network, allowing to identify and prevent illegal activities affecting the financial interests of the EU. The area of operation of the TAC in Lublin is directly at the east border of the EU. Criminal groups are actively seeking to exploit the destabilized situation in Ukraine and Belarus for their own malicious purposes. Therefore, the project aims to purchase the device to ensure the institution can respond appropriately to these threats. Additionally, the institution plans to conduct training for its employees to ensure they can operate the device effectively. The supplier's employees will train the operators of the ordering party to use the device effectively and address any problems.
