Description
Description | YEU is a youth-led network committed to promoting peace, inclusion, youth participation, and intercultural understanding through non-formal education. For the 2026-2027 period, YEU’s Work Programme, aligned with the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and building on the legacy of the European Year of Youth (2022), is structured around two key pillars: supporting meaningful youth engagement and ensuring strong, transparent organisational functioning. The overall objectives of the YEUth in Action are to: - Strengthen relations with and between MOs to connect and share capacities; - Engagement and empowerment in youth work and NFE through capacity building activities to strengthen direct outreach to youth; - Awareness-raising activities to CONNECT, ENGAGE and EMPOWER youth to take active part in their local communities and contribute to decision-making processes on different levels. YEU’s actions are based on co-creation, equity, and a bottom-up approach. Member Organisations(MOs) and youth play an active role in shaping and implementing the programme. Special focus is given to capacity-building efforts involving youth workers, including those in YEU’s Pool of Trainers and Experts (PET), who contribute to improving outreach, educational tools, and long-term impact. Guided by YEU’s Strategic Plan 2026-2028, this Work Programme responds to emerging societal challenges while strengthening the organisation’s mission: to connect, empower, and boost youth voices in Europe and beyond. Activities will include training courses, consultative processes, local and international events, and digital outreach tools targeting both youth and youth workers. |
