Strohm's Subsea Thermoplastic Composite Pipe System for Wilhelmshaven 2 LNG Terminal

The project involves the installation of over 11 kilometers of Strohm's subsea Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) system at the Wilhelmshaven 2 LNG terminal in Germany. The pipeline supports the terminal's subsea infrastructure, transferring natural gas from the Excelsior Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) to the onshore terminal. The pipeline is designed to be flexible, corrosion-resistant, and environmentally friendly, buried under the seabed in a sensitive marine zone. It is also expected to be repurposed later for transporting liquid CO₂.
