Stronger Together - Building a Global Inclusive Community of Changemakers through International Voluntary Service

"'Stronger Together', coordinated by the Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS), builds a global, inclusive community of changemakers contributing to social change through International Voluntary Service (IVS). This project aligns with the Erasmus+ programme objectives and the EU Youth Strategy by addressing key priorities such as youth engagement, inclusion, environmental sustainability, and intercultural dialogue. The project’s primary objectives are to: Build the capacity of IVS organisations to deliver transformative programmes. Advocate for the recognition and mobility of volunteering as a vital tool for youth development. Strengthen global networks to address systemic issues such as decolonisation, social justice, and climate action. Foster organisational resilience and financial sustainability across the IVS movement. These objectives will be achieved through a range of actions, including capacity-building workshops, advocacy campaigns, virtual and in-person exchanges, and hands-on volunteering initiatives. An example: projects such as the 'Living Earth Campaign' and 'LIVE-EX Virtual Exchanges' will equip youth with skills to address global challenges like biodiversity loss and climate justice while fostering inclusion and intercultural understanding. The project demonstrates strong relevance to the work programme by addressing EU Youth Goals European Youth Goals #1 (Connecting EU with Youth), #3 (Inclusive Societies), #4 (Information & Constructive Dialogue), #6 (Moving Rural Youth Forward), #8 (Quality Learning), #10 (Sustainable Green Europe), and #11 (Youth Organisations & European Programmes). It contributes to the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, and environmental sustainability. By bridging the local and global, 'Stronger Together' empowers youth to take active roles in shaping policies and driving meaningful change within their communities and beyond."
