Stroudsburg 5-Point Intersection Roundabout

The borough of Stroudsburg has been awarded federal funding to begin planning a roundabout project aimed at improving safety and revitalizing Main Street. The project is in early stages and aims to transform one of Stroudsburg's busiest and most dangerous intersections by connecting North 5th Street, Broad Street, and Main Street. The grant of $440,000 from the US Department of Transportation will fund design and engineering for the proposed roundabout, including expanding sidewalks to make the area more walkable and appealing for businesses. Community input will be gathered through public meetings before moving forward, and additional funding will be sought for construction after the design phase.
