Structural lining of 17km of watermains in 29 locations in Toronto

This project will enable the structural lining of an incremental 17 kilometres of watermains in 29 locations in 2017-18. The work on the watermains includes cleaning the interior of existing watermains, and applying a structural liner to the interior of the pipe. Through the installation of an engineered structural liner, this technology is capable of extending the life of existing watermains and addresses complaints such as low water pressure, low water flow or rusty water. Substandard water services, valves and hydrants are replaced in coordination with watermain structural lining.
