Structural upgrade to wastewater forcemain at Holditch Street extension

The project is to replacement a section of 200mm High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) sanitary force main pipe with 200mm water main quality pipe. High-density polyethylene force main pipes installed in the early 1970’s has failed in several locations in town. This section for replacement is a sensitive location that crosses under the Trans-Canada Highway and a railway line. This work is a continuation of force main replacement that was made this year as part of the 2016 Holditch Storm Sewer Separation project. Further, a short section storm separation located at the north end of the 2016 project on Holditch Street will be included. Note, all work is adjacent to the 2016 Storm Separation Project, not part of the project.
