"The project ""Student participation as an integrated tool in emergency contexts"" aims to meet the needs and proposals of children and adolescents in the educational field as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic to generate spaces or tools for school participation that can be used in emergency contexts. In this way, the project contributes to protecting the right to participation of children and adolescents, paying special attention to gender equality and the most vulnerable groups, precisely the groups least listened to during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project is carried out in 8 schools in different territories in Catalonia, considering the diversity of public schools according to age, educational levels (early childhood education, primary and secondary), educational projects, demographic criteria (urban / rural) and according to family income. From these variables, it is intended to define a heterogeneous sample of schools in order that the spaces and participation tools created during the participatory experiences are replicable in all schools in Catalonia. It is intended that the spaces or tools for child participation in the educational field that result from the intervention are replicable in other school contexts throughout Europe in order to protect the right to participation of children in emergency contexts.
