Studies on introducing new technology

As part of its electrification program, and in accordance with the Quebec government’s GHG reduction objectives, the STL wishes to introduce its first totally electric bus route, as a demonstration project, but also in order to refine the processes for implementing this type of technology. The project consists of carrying out a series of studies to prepare for the implementation of this electric route. The studies will concern: - the technology selected for the route - the necessary changes to STL installations - maintenance logistics for the vehicle - the cost of purchasing and operating the electric vehicles - the installations required outside the garage (charging stations, etc.)
