The general objective of our current CE Media Development Support Slate application is to increase the competitiveness of Studio Ruba, as an independent European production company, solidify its position in the market, as well as enhance its co-production capacity with various countries. The final expected result is to improve the distribution possibilities of our projects at a European and international level for the projects: BECOMING DUBOIS (in co-production with Iceland and Romania) SUGAR (in co-production with Germany) THE HILLS OF CYNTHIA (in co-production with Belgium and Poland). Our activities will include: intensive script writing and creative development (including casting, location scouting, assembling of creative teams), delivery of scripts, attending co-production markets and festivals, securing deals with co-producers, sales agents and financiers, securing funds for development and production in The Netherlands and abroad, working on marketing and audience design already from the stage of development, as well as all the steps that will lead to the production of aforementioned projects. Through this slate, we will support the writers and directors of submitted projects, as well as the members of our production company. At the same time, a large number of external production personnel and creatives will also be benefiting, including script advisors, location managers, casting directors, cinematographers, art directors, line producers, assistant directors and marketing executives The expected results are to proceed to the development and financing of our projects and enter principal photography. Throughout this process, we anticipate producing 18 outputs, including: updated creative materials, updated financing strategies, financing plans and budgets, as well as updated marketing strategies.
