Sudan - Capacity Building for Improved Quality of the Education System and Skills Development Project

The Capacity Building for Improved Quality of Education System and Skills Development Project is designed to enhance Teachers and managers’ skills development and the use of technology to improve quality education and training. The project will upgrade the capacities of a critical mass of teachers (52 000 of whom 42% are female), Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVT) trainers (2096 of whom 35% are female), educational planners, managers, faculty lecturers and assistants (450 of whom 50% are female) to effectively contribute towards the achievement of the national education goals. The first component of the project focuses on supporting capacity building for improving the quality of the education system. The second component relates to the improvement of teaching and training conditions in FTE institutions. The third concerns the management of the project. This component includes specific support for project coordination, management and evaluation.
