The project aims to provide additional power and support existing and future load growth in the region. It involves constructing new transmission lines and two new switchyards, utilizing an existing right-of-way corridor, with plans to widen easements and possibly exercise eminent domain if necessary. Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2026 and complete by fall 2027. |
