Description | The Sukošan Solar Power Plant (SPP Sukošan) is a large-scale solar energy project in Zadar County, Croatia. It features a 45 MW grid connection capacity with photovoltaic modules totaling approximately 56.5 MWp and inverters with an AC capacity of about 48.3 MVA. The project includes the construction of a new 110/33 kV substation to connect to the national grid and a battery energy storage system (BESS) with up to 50 MW power and 200 MWh capacity to store and release energy as needed. Site preparation, road construction, panel installation, electrical systems, and security works are planned. A location permit is secured, and a building permit is expected in Q2 2026, aiming for construction readiness by late 2026. |
