Summit Carbon Solutions Carbon Capture Pipeline

planned

Summit Carbon Solutions is constructing a pipeline to capture carbon from ethanol plants, with a route initially approved in Iowa and plans to extend into South Dakota and North Dakota for underground storage. Due to South Dakota's law barring eminent domain for the project, Summit is seeking permit changes in Iowa to adjust the route and start construction once storage access is secured. The project includes new contract options for landowners and grants for emergency response agencies along the route.
