Sunbeth Global Concepts 70,000-Tonne Cocoa Processing Facility

planned

Sunbeth Global Concepts is launching a large-scale 70,000-metric-ton cocoa processing plant in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. The facility aims to shift Nigeria's cocoa industry from raw bean exports to value-added chocolate production, enhancing the country's position in the global confectionery market. The project also includes an 80,000-tonne cashew processing facility to diversify export capacity and boost non-oil revenue. The plant is scheduled to begin operations in March 2027 and incorporates the Orange Cocoa Sustainability Framework to support over 51,000 farmers with improved agronomic practices and traceability.
