This 5.95-acre lot zoned HCD (Highway Commercial Development) is a Public/Private Utility Facility project to expand the existing wastewater treatment facility. The expansion includes upgrading headworks replacing the screen and adding a grit removal system with an additional aeration basin for aero-mod train 1, aero-mod train 2, an additional Chlorine Contact Chamber (CCC) and removal of the existing chemical feed building with a new feed building. This includes new piping to the existing rapid infiltration basins (RIBs). Surrounding the new chemical feed building, there will be a gravel road to its entrance and a gravity wall on the south side of aeration basin aero-mod train 1. The new building’s size totals 450.24 sq. ft. and will have 5 parking spaces. The property has two rezonings, case numbers 1996-R-018 & 2013-R-008 which rezoned the property from AG and R2 to its current HCD zoning.
