Description | The SunDog Energy Center is a solar and battery storage project planned for Pinal County that will add 200 megawatts of solar power and 200 megawatts of battery storage to the electric grid. It is expected to produce enough electricity to power up to 45,000 homes in the Valley, helping to keep electricity reliable, affordable, and available when needed. The project will also bring economic benefits to Pinal County, including generating over $209 million in local tax revenue, land costs, and lease payments, and creating 200 to 400 jobs during peak construction. |
