Description
Description | The project will increase the quality of wastewater treatment at the Woodcreek Park Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Sunshine Coast Regional District. Improvements will be made to the collection and distribution which will ensure the system is in compliance with provincial regulations. The project works include: - repair and reconfiguration to base collection system piping and manholes; - remediation of service connections; - improvements to equalization, recirculating tank, aeration system, and primary septic tanks; - replacement of media-based recirculating filter, repairs to existing filter liner, and additional new lining; - installation of a new secondary treatment system; - installation of a new and reconfiguring of a portion of the existing treatment plant distribution piping and headworks; - demolition and removal of replaced equipment; - and earthworks, mechanical, electrical, control/monitoring, roads/paths, lighting, signage; and, - all related works and appurtenances. |
