Description
Description | Even superheroes have to go to school! In the second season of this scripted comedy series, set to a very unique boarding school for future superheroes, our young heroes and first graders from season 1, will advance to second and third grade. We will continue to follow our friends on their journey together, but the universe will also expand by new and charming characters from other classes, new quirky teachers and sly antagonists. Superhero Academy is an action comedy built on a traditional sitcom structure. The show is unique and innovative with it’s wacky storylines: not only does it introduce us to a world of heartwarming friendships, but it combines it with the soughtafter edge-of-your-seat action. Each standalone episode has two separate storylines that intertwine at the end, making the series rich and high paced. Our main charachers, five good friends, care for each other and rise to the occasion no matter the size of the problems. The series is told from a child’s honest and charming point of view, placed in a fantastic superhero universe, aimed at 6-10 year-olds. TV is a powerful medium that in many ways both reflects and shapes society and culture. As people live their childhoods, they often look up to and aspire to be like the role models they see on TV. We believe that our young superheroes teach and encourage viewers to love and respect themselves for who they are, no matter the background. It’s harder than ever to catch the audience’s attention, but with a diverse group of characters, set to a colorful and vibrant universe, we experience that we are doing something right in order to catch the attention of our young viewers. We want children across the world to identify with our characters and young superheroes, and we want them think: “Yes, that could’ve been me!” |
