Support for Actions Carried Out in the CODIA Field

The main tasks of CODIA are: i) to provide the Ibero-American Forum of Ministers of the Environment and the Ibero-American Summits with the general lines of cooperation in the field of water; ii) promoting joint action plans and programs; iii) promote the development and exchange of experiences; iv) coordinate cooperation activities in the region; v) facilitate exchanges and coordination, both institutional and private, in legal, technical, training and investment aspects; vi) promote coherence in technical regulations; vii) develop training courses and programs for professionals, public administration personnel and public officials.The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support CODIA in the development of strategic actions for the sector in the field of hydrological planning, the integral management of water resources and training. The cooperation will be developed through three components: (i) development of regional analyzes; (ii) support for the preparation of spaces and discussion workshops at CODIA meetings; and (iii) education and training.
