Description
Description | RenOSS will help municipalities accelerate the renovation rate and introduce ambitious and high-quality renovations in the public sector in Poland. By the end of the project, RenOSS will establish two fully operational OSS models in two Polish regions (Silesia and Mazovia) that are capable of supporting municipalities in planning and executing energy renovations at scale. Moreover 6 additional consultation points will be established by project partners and during project lifetime to replicate the services in other areas of Poland. At project end the OSS service (in whole or in part) will be available across country. The OSS structures will continue to operate after the project ends, ensuring the long-term support for public building renovation. The project aims to directly impact at least 40 public buildings during the pilot phase, and by 5 years after project completion, up to 4800 public buildings are targeted to be renovated across Poland. The primary goal of the project is to increase the rate of renovation of public buildings to zero-emission or nearly zero emission standards to 3% annually and to reduce final energy consumption by an average of 1.9% annually, positioning public entities as leaders in the energy transition by 2030. The project will achieve this goal by establishing a broad support structure for public entities, leading to: -Building and maintaining long-term competencies and organizational, financial, and technical capacities of public entities to implement ambitious, deep modernization projects that improve energy efficiency using renewable energy sources (RES). - Establishing previously tested, external, comprehensive support structures (One-Stop-Shop points), streamlining the building renovation processes for the public sector at regional and national levels. -Stimulating and mobilizing public entities, as high-impact leaders of change, to play a model role in the energy transition process. The project will primarily focus its efforts on small and medium-sized municipalities. The ultimate beneficiaries of the project, also known as investors, will primarily be local government units. |
