The TC aims to support the implementation of CARICOM's Regional Migration Policy Framework at the national level and enhance capacity for expanding human mobility and fostering social inclusion. The TC's general objective is to assist the advisory groups for the CARICOM Regional Migration Policy Framework and support national governments in advancing the country-level implementation of the Framework and the expanded free movement protocols across CARICOM member states. Specific Objectives: i) Support the preparation of two studies on 1) the legal aspects surrounding the implementation of the regional framework and free-movement protocols; and 2) the potential impacts of the new policies on labor migration, especially in key sectors such as health and education. ii) Organize, in collaboration with regional and international partners, including the CARICOM secretariat, the CARICOM CSME office, IOM, and ILO, two (2) workshops to disseminate the results of the studies and promote discussion of the implementation of the Framework and protocols.
