Development of free law enforcement capacity-building materials (courses, processes, exercises) to tackle cybercrime and all crimes facilitated by the use of the new technologies. The ECTEG activities will be focusing on: • To promote, encourage, and support the deployment of existing courses materials in the EU MS, and beyond, through our institutional members and stakeholders (e.g. Council of Europe, OECD, OSCE, UNODC), • The continuous update and upgrade of course material, and the implementation of sustainability for the existing ECTEG materials, • To facilitate future developments by increasing and nurturing the network of experts. The action aims to improve synergies, coherency, and quality in supporting activities and provide needed technical and pedagogical standards for the development and deployment of the delivered training package at the international and national levels. Moreover, the action aims at establishing working synergies with relevant stakeholders in the cyber ecosystem, for the maximisation of the efforts channeled in this area. ECTEG will invest in the development of dedicated working agreements and bespoke activities with the European Anti-Cybercrime Technology Development Association (EACTDA) and other partners, in line with the EU Security Strategy and the other EU instruments. Additionally, the action aims to improve the course development process and to provide measuring instruments that allow the development of observable and quantifiable Key Performance Indicators to measure ECTEG efforts and stakeholder engagement. An indirect outcome will be streamlining counter-cybercrime awareness across the EU by sharing knowledge and expertise and promoting and improving the standardisation of methods and procedures for training programmes. These actions will be carried out through cooperation with other international partners and organisations and through collaboration with academic partners. www.ecteg.eu
