Core problem Destruction of natural habitats and ecosystems Module objective The module enables investments in measures that effectively contribute to ecological, economic, cultural and institutional networking and value creation in the Greater Kafue ecosystem. Key outputs (1) The module makes a significant contribution to improving the resources and capacities for the protection and management of wildlife corridors and migration routes that are relevant to the Greater Kafue ecosystem TFCA. (2) The module makes a significant contribution to measures that improve the living conditions of the local population (including community-based natural resources management, tourism, site-appropriate agriculture and livestock farming). Target group Rural population in the Greater Kafue ecosystem Contribution to the national implementation of Agenda 2030 Preservation of biodiversity (SDG No. 15 Life on land); Climate protection (SDG 13 Climate protection measures); Improvement of the livelihoods of the local population (SDG No. 1 Poverty reduction).
