Description | In August 2012, United Water signed an agreement with the Suqian Municipal Government to build and operate the City north Wastewater Treatment in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. The total investment for the first phase was about US$ 8.06 million (RMB 50 million). United Water was selected via direct negotiation. It would operate the plant for 25 years and the base price for water treatment was 1.04 Yuan per ton. Construction commenced in May 2013 and was completed in December 2013. Phase one of the facility had a capacity of 15,000 tons per day. The agreement was performed by Suqian Yinkong Water Supply Company Limited, a subsidiary of United Water in the Suqian City. |
