Description | Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to develop 232 surface parking facilities across various jurisdictions in Delhi including Dwarka, north zone, Rohini, east, and south zones. These facilities aim to provide immediate relief in high-demand areas with a combined capacity to accommodate nearly 72,000 vehicles. The sites have been proposed to the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) and Delhi government. Selected agencies will be responsible for leveling, tiling, air pollution control, entry and exit points, and implementing citizen-friendly parking fee collection systems. DDA aims to operationalise at least 50 of these facilities by August 2026 and the rest by November 2026. |
