The project partners VHS Cham and the Czech school SOS a SOU Susice have been working together cross-border for many years and have already carried out several small and large Interreg projects with the target group Young and young adults. Cross-border internships, visits, exchanges and workshops were carried out and joint professional skills and language acquisition (D — CZ, CZ — D) were developed and tested. We want to further expand and deepen this successful cooperation in the shared living and economic area in the Susice u. Cham region. In addition to deepening professionalism. Skills, the gathering of new experiences in the neighbouring country and the ggs. To get to know culture and language, we want to place a special emphasis on the topic of environmental protection and sustainability in work, school and society. This focus is also new and should be a cross-cutting topic through all project contents. Planned content/activities: — supervised internships for Czech students in Bavaria — redesigned. — joint 2-day working meeting for Bavarian and Czech pupils/young people in Cham and Susice. — Elaboration of new teaching materials for subject-specific (professional and ecology) language teaching (CZ, D). — Study visits with groups of students in Susice u. Cham. — preparatory training courses, working groups, courses to get to know job-specific language content (including ecology topics) and other competences (e.g. necessary social skills for occupation and training). — small experiments & workpieces on sustainability & environmental protection (action-oriented learning). — Meeting for teachers and traineeship supervisors in Susice u. Cham. — Workshops with experts, excursions. — Creation of work materials (supplementary content on the professions in the field of sustainability and environmental protection) in CZ & D as well as of company and internship information for online placement on the existing website www.cham-susice.eu. Project documentation as presentation (PowerPoint) ebf. on websitetarget groups: Young people and young adults (e.g. socially disadvantaged) at the transition from school to work and trainers/teachers. The objectives of the project are cross-border professional experience, overcoming language barriers, getting to know different vocational training systems and socio-cultural reservations, as well as the development and implementation of measures to promote sustainability and environmental protection in occupation, school and society. Added value: Young people from CZ & BY receive up-to-date skills and educational content that they can use in work and everyday life. This also enables them to successfully exploit the opportunities of the common living, work and economic space in the border area.
