Sustainability, Digitalization and Competitiveness Services of EEN to SMEs in Anatolia Region

The aim of EEN ANATOLIA project is to increase the resilience and competitiveness of 400 thousand SMEs in the TR05 and TR07 NUTS II region of Turkey. EEN ANATOLIA will achieve this target by helping SMEs in their innovation, sustainability, digitalization and internationalization processes. The consortium is formed KOSGEB Ankara (Turkish SME Development Agency), two technology development zones/ technopoles and two chambers of Industry. All the partners of the consortium are either government agencies, non-profit entities or not-for-profit organizations and have been working together as a consortium since the first EEN call in 2008. The target region is among the more developed regions of Turkey with the highest amount of R&D expenditure per capita. The education levels are higher when compared to the rest of Turkey. So the region creates the highest number of technology entrepreneurs per capita targeting the national markets. The main aim of EEN ANATOLIA will be to help these companies become global, increasing efficiency and competitiveness.
