The Finnish Meteorological Institute, Centria University of Applied Sciences, University of Tromsø and Luleå University of Technology collaborate with the objective to increase SMEs' innovation capacity and the use of advanced technologies for their operations. UAV and UGV uses and technology development are central in a number of application areas e.g., tourism, reindeer husbandry and traffic. Complementary advanced technologies are also being investigated in relation to this. The chosen areas are still in early use of such solutions. The project is based on industrial needs and challenges where companies and organizations participate. The goal is therefore to also stimulate new services, increase SMEs' entrepreneurial abilities and inspire innovation processes based on advanced technology. Expected effects are that the target group increases their insights into how sustainable autonomous systems and solutions create benefits and safety in the businesses.
