Sustainable Community Development Partnership in Zambia

planned

The Ethical Society of Zambia, in partnership with Helping Hands - Green-Ocean e.V., plans to build sustainable communities across Zambia by addressing challenges such as climate change, food insecurity, poor sanitation, and limited access to practical education. The initiative includes community food bank events in local schools that provide food assistance alongside educational workshops on backyard gardening, composting, water purification, nutrition, sanitation, menstrual health, and reusable sanitary products. The project emphasizes local ownership, community participation, and capacity building to ensure long-term sustainability and replicability across other communities in Zambia.
