In the years 2021-22 the industry partners and academy partners behind the project have built up common knowledge about challenges and opportunities concerning the construction industry and the large construction projects in the Aurora region. Based on the knowledge, the partners will implement the project Sustainable Construction and Build Environment in Arctic Climate. The overall object of the project is to establish cross-border cooperation in sustainable and build environment in the Aurora region between academia and construction industry to effectively meet: - the direct needs and challenges in the construction industry (focus SMEs) the coming years - the challenges and opportunities to secure the large investments and construction projects the coming years: industry investments, housing, community and transport infrastructure - the need to build closer cooperation in sustainable construction in the region - necessary to achieve the UNs Global Environment Goals
