Sustainable Development Program for the Central Provinces

The objective of the program is to improve the welfare of the inhabitants of urban and rural areas of the interior provinces of the country through an increase in coverage and quality of drinking water services and sanitation, including managing solid waste and protection of water sources for human consumption. This will be achieved through the following actions: i) improve access to efficient and safe drinking water and sanitation in the provinces; ii) contribute to the protection and proper use of water resources and iii) strengthen the capacity local management of the institutions involved in providing services.
