Description

Description

The FC measure Sustainable Economic Development - Financial Sector Promotion II is an FC program with three components. Component 1 - Agricultural Financing (K1) serves to improve access to financing for agricultural companies. For this purpose, a new agricultural financing company is to be set up which will provide financing to small and medium-sized agricultural companies and support them with accompanying advisory measures so that their growth is strengthened. Component 2 - Financial Sector Deepening Fund (K2) The Financial Sector Deepening Fund will be set up as a multi-donor platform and will play a central role in the implementation of the Mozambican government's financial sector strategies. The aim of setting up the platform is to improve access for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in rural areas, to needs-based financial services. Component 3 - Credit Information System (K3) includes the modernization of the existing credit information agency in the central bank and its addition to private approaches. This is intended to further expand the financial infrastructure in Mozambique.
