Description
Description | RTV Slovenija's Sustainable Mobility for All project is a broadcasting cross-media initiative addressing accessibility for all citizens, focusing on mobility, public transport, sustainability, and urban-rural development. It explores intelligent public transport, European rail corridors to reduce carbon footprints, and the transfer of best practices to Slovenia, emphasizing investments in the green transition through cohesion policy. The project includes analytical research in 14 European countries comparing and testing the possibility of implementing present solutions to Slovenian practices, combining all platforms of national public broadcaster: radio, TV, web, social media, and live events. The proposed project embraces 10 comprehensive TV broadcasts, 47 radio broadcasts on national and regional Radio Slovenija channels, 2 all-day on-location programmes, and public debates featuring youth perspectives on cohesion-funded sites. Broadcasters for minorities from Italy, Austria and Hungary will also air the content. We will offer the content to the EBU News Exchange, as well. Flashmob events for public transport users will offer creative insights into mobility. Online content comprises features on 10 cycling routes with interactive maps hosted on a special project website and youth-focused platforms. Podcasts with a broad reach and high-performing social media profiles will amplify dissemination. Accessible technologies like subtitles and sign language will ensure inclusivity. All content produced to the highest media standards will also be available after the end of the project. The project aims to reach a large part of the population through a wide range of media, fostering a positive perception of sustainable mobility, aligning with EU priorities, as well as inspiring local communities and committing policymakers to action. |
