Description
Description | The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $15,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds. The goal of this NOFO is to accelerate and sustain HIV epidemic control and reduce TB incidence by attaining and sustaining the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets through implementing interventions that address unmet needs across the clinical cascade in the four districts of Leribe, Berea, Quthing and Qacha’s Nek. To ensure sustainability, you will be expected to work with the Ministry of Health, to provide evidence-based interventions and innovative strategies, strengthen the capacity of the district health management teams, health facilities and communities to improve person-centered health service delivery. Activities include health system strengthening and continuous quality improvement in multiple areas. Provision of technical assistance in multiple areas including HIV and TB case finding; HIV care and treatment including advanced HIV disease management and cervical cancer screening, biomedical prevention including elimination of mother to child HIV transmission, pre-exposure prophylaxis; TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, integration of non-communicable diseases management into HIV service delivery; interface with laboratory systems; surveillance (including Recency testing) and data utilization for program improvement. The overall NOFO goal aligns with the PEPFAR 2030 strategic direction to eliminate the HIV/AIDS pandemic as a public health threat while sustainably strengthening the public health system. |
