Description | SUU Valley Farm and USU Researchers are collaborating with regional farmers and statewide partners to develop innovative irrigation strategies that improve water use efficiency while sustaining crop production. The project involves studying various irrigation technologies such as Low-elevation Precision Application (LEPA), variable rate irrigation systems, and other water nozzle packages to optimize water application in farming fields. The research also includes trials on reduced irrigation strategies and alternative crop varieties to conserve water in agricultural practices. |
