The project involves building 9km of twin tunnels from Sydney Olympic Park to Westmead as part of the AUD$2.16 billion Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package. The station at Westmead is the deepest on the line, up to 39m below ground, with a 500m underground cavern constructed over three years. |
