Description
Description | The Syerston Scandium Project contains the world's largest and highest-grade scandium deposit located in central New South Wales, Australia. Sunrise Energy Metals has received a Letter of Interest from the U.S. Export-Import Bank for potential financing of up to US$67 million, representing approximately half of the estimated development cost. The project aims to develop a reliable and secure supply chain for scandium, critical for US industry, especially after China's export controls on rare earth metals. The Feasibility Study completion has been delayed to mid- to late-October 2025 to incorporate new metal inventories and optimize the mine plan. |
