Sylvia City Water System Repair and Water Tower Project

under repair

The City of Sylvia in Reno County, Kansas, experienced a water line break that caused a loss of pressure in the distribution system, leading to a bacterial buildup advisory. Repairs have been made, and water is flowing again, but residents are still advised not to drink the city water until testing is complete. The city is also undertaking a water tower project, and residents may see water flowing from hydrants during this ongoing work. The city cautions about potential future leaks due to the age of the water lines.
