Description
Description | Implemented across four EU and five EU candidate countries, Synergy Amplified: Innovating the Classical Music Ecosystem (SynAmp) aims to synergistically amplify the sector’s capacity by supporting capacity building and professional development (SO1), enhancing transnational artistic collaboration and circulation (SO2), and fostering innovation and sustainability in the performing arts (SO3). To achieve this, the project brings together composers, multimedia artists, emerging performers, and emerging and established cultural professionals to co-create, exchange knowledge, receive training, and present newly commissioned multimedia works to a wide audience. SynAmp directly addresses key sectoral challenges, including limited opportunities for interdisciplinary co-creation, insufficient collaboration between creators and performers, and a lack of practical, transnational experience for emerging cultural professionals. It also responds to the lack of collaborative environments for performers, slow adoption of innovative and sustainable production models, and the need for more effective audience engagement. Therefore, SynAmp directly contributes to Creative Europe’s priorities on innovation, digital transition, inclusion, and capacity building. SynAmp delivers a comprehensive and integrated framework of residencies, mentorships, Capacity Building labs, and SynAmp Tour - engaging over 100 artists and professionals. The project’s major outputs (8 commissioned works, 17 public performances in 10 European countries, digital multimedia publishing, and broad dissemination) ensure long-term visibility and access for artists, cultural professionals and audiences. By empowering emerging and established professionals and facilitating capacity building and cross-border exchange, SynAmp contributes to a more resilient, sustainable, and interconnected European cultural ecosystem. |
