The PROJECT SYNERGY – SolidaritY iN Europe Rebuilds Global Youth wants to create a permanent active network which can ensure innovative collaboration, active democratic engagement and civic participation. The main focuses of the action will be: -Solidarity as a means of strengthening the integration process between European municipalities and Debate on the Future of Europe. The Partners are linked by an active background in EU policies and they want to contribute to citizens’ understanding of the European Union, of its history and achievements and of the EU policy making-process by stimulating the dabate on topics that are vital for their respective communities, such as the role of young in promoting solidarity and building a tighter-knit EU. Aims: -Cooperation and exchange of best practices; -Foster Partners ability to boost solidarity for disadvantaged groups and as means to stimulate volunteering; -Create the space for a deeper discussion on the future of Europe; -Allow best practices exchange to learn from each others’ experience; -Support citizens and policy makers to get together and exchange know-how on policy issues and give responses to the questions for the kind of Europe citizens want; -Active involvement of public authorities and stakeholders in the debate; -Foster Eu citizenship and improve conditions for civic and democratic participation mainly in those who haven't been involved so far or reject the Union outright or put in question its achievements; -Promote societal engagement and volunteering or the occupation in social economy structures; -Signature of a Partnership Agreement for long term collaboration among Partners. Actions: 1 Project Launch Event; 1 Multilateral Meeting in Jevišovice (CZ) 6-15 June 2022.
